Put the fc up at the weekend, two years ago could not get the gas cooker working the gas would go out once you took your finger of the knob ,gas knob. So we bought a cheap camping cooker and a length of hose to get by. So at the weekend I had time to try the cooker, and bugger me it worked. So what the chance its going to work once it's been bounced down the motorway for three hours.
sounds like the cooker has thermocouples they work by the flame warming them up (they look like little bars sticking up beside the burner if the flame does not touch them the gas flow will stop they are safety devices I would check they are clean and in the flame they are quite reliable the same thing is in the oven if you have one it sits in a little holder above the burner hope this helps
we can't get the grill to work, we bought a new thermocouple fitted it but the grill still goes out when you take your finger of the knob. All I did with the cooker was wiggle the fittings under the cooker knobs. As for the oven that was easy as we haven't got on in the fc.
