is there a way to tell the age of a pennine pullman from say the chassis plate

i have seen a pullman 535  which is being sold as a 1998 i havent viewed it as yet

but there is no heater or built in mains.

what age where the 535s started from

The last digits of the number are the year of manufacure. Not sure when they started that system. Canvas colour is also a guide.
