hi my son has just brought a conway carlton xl trailer tent, is car is a rover 200 1.4 engine, could you tell me is the car alright ( weight wise) to tow the trailer tent, bikes, camping equiment, thanks
I Pull a conway calypso which when fully loaded is nearly 350 kilo.My Car is also a Rover 200 1.4 the trailer should have a plate on which gives the max weight and the car manual will give the max the car can pull which is 900kilowith a braked trailer I have pulled a trailer weighing 450kilo with no problemsyou just have to remember it takes longer to stop with the extra weight.but check with your Rover dealer if you are not sure.
