After a windy few days at Filey I was horrified to find a hole in the corner of the awning. My fault, the upright pole adjusting screw had been facing the canvas and rubbed a ten pence piece sized hole.
I took the damaged bit to Janesta Leisure at Rawmarsh. (01709 708688). I'm pleased with the repair, very neat patched inside and out and only cost £15. A minor repair but I'm very happy with the workmanship. Just thought I'd share this for those who live in our neck of the woods.

Thanks for that Hengus, sorry you've had cause to use the company obviously, but on the other hand good to know there is a local company to do a good repair at a good price. I didn't even realise such a place existed in our area.
Im pretty sure thats the place our friends told us about that repaired their awning...... very pleased with their service and also recommended a product for a small repair that they could have made a few quid on themselves but gave my friends option to do it themselves cheaper!
