No, I have not even contemplated the idea. You could do some damage to your self and the unit if you got it wrong.

Make room, find room as it is a great unit.

You don't really gain that much,but if you have to,why not? I stored my Camplet on it's side,but that was a low wide unit so it made a difference,and yours will be heavier!
