Hi Folks

Anyone have a spare transit cover for a 2003 Pathfinder that they may consider selling?

Cheers

Its probably the most important part of the camper. Certainly not worth scrimping on.

hi  old skool,  there  is  a  firm in bolton, lancs, who i deliver to called r s services, greenacre business park, howard st,  they  custom make tarpaulin covers, in any colour, size, etc,  when  i  asked  about  a replacement for my pathfinder, they quoted  about £120, was considering  getting one as extra protection for winter, if you are interested in  contacting  them  i will  get  the phone number for you, seem to always  be busy making  covers for showmens fairground rides and trailer covers, think  they would be a lot cheaper and as good as a genuine pennine one,
                    cheers,  paul.

I've just acquired a 2005 Sterling and the cover was showing it's age and had some damage that I'm sure would leak. As I have no choice but to store it outside I contacted Tent Valeting services who arranged to collect the old cover to use as a template. The new cover is very well made but not cheap, about £200 including carriage but I need to make sure the camper is protected as well as I can. Terry at Camping International in Gillingham Kent very kindly lent me a cover from a Pullman while I waited for my new cover to be made. That only took about four days including the weekend.

Thanks for the mention Graham. We're in the process of negotiating deals with a number of suppliers at the moment, in an attempt to get the prices to a absolute minimum, as the general rule with most Pennine parts is; you wait a lifetime for a second hand one or you may a fortune for a new one, and we're trying to break that cycle if we can.

The option I use most is Under Cover C I. Looking at their site, now, they do a cover for a 1999 - 2000 Pathfinder, made to measure, for £138.50, so that's a reasonable guide as to what a new one would cost for a 2003.

Pennine Pathfinder Transit Cover

It's not cheap, but a lot less than Pennine's own, and they do claim it's better quality than the Pennine ones, so, if you are struggling, might be worth checking them out.
