Over the years on the UKcampsite message forum there have regularly been requests for help in finding instructions to erect used Conway trailer tents and folding campers that have come without these. The Conway Owners Club has recently launched its new website which is still at Conwayowners.org.uk and have included on the site digital copies of instructions for erecting some 36 different Conway units that were previously only available for members and generic guides that cover most of the others. In addition to help you date your purchase or possible future purchases, on the site there are copies of the Conway brochures from 1980 to 2008 and detailed plans showing the layouts, dimensions and colours used for Conway units from 1978 to 2006. All these documents have been given to the club and you are welcome to make copies for your own use. We have also collected together on the site links to videos on YouTube demonstrating how to put up a range of Conway units.
We will be continually adding to our collection of copies of instruction leaflets but should you have digital copies of instructions for further models or ones that are better copies than ours and like us are happy to share them with others please contact the club secretary at secretary at conwayowners.org.uk and we can arrange for them to be added to the website.
I'm not a Conway owner but that sounds a wonderful resource and I'm sure it will encourage many to buy a Conway with real confidence that there will be help with any problems. Well done.
The Club also offers an excellent classifieds section that is open to all campers. The service has been used by hundreds of buyers and sellers alike! Almost all have commented on the fast and efficient service offered!
As the Club is now predominantly caravan based, they now offer a classifieds section for caravans.
The fee for advertising is only £10 for a period of 6 months. Included in the fee is the unit description and upto 8 photographs. Any ad can be changed or amended at no extra cost during the display period.
The Club's classifieds are cheaper than ebay and less likely to be from scammers!
