Hello Everybody,
Please bear with me as I try to describe my problem on 2006 Pathfinder model.
At the top of the centre upright pole is a riveted plastic connector that takes the two horizontal connecting poles. My problem is that one of the plastic eyes has broken, and I cannot see how this can be rectified, unless I replace the whole upright pole section.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

My centre upright pole was fractured when I bought my Pathfinder so I replaced the centre pole. As I hate throwing anything faintly useful away I still have the double eyelet fitting. If you want it its yours FOC. I'll dig it out and post a pic to make sure its the same.

Thanks Phil,I would certainly like to take you up on your kind offer for the fitting. How can I private message you with my address?I have not posted on this forum before.
Also with not having a huge amount of practical skills, how would you suggest the repair is carried out?
Thanks again.

Send me a short mail to pjs at mail.com This is a junk mail account I use. I'll pick it up from there and contact you via my regular address.

The fitting is pop riveted to the upright. I'm going to drill the rivets out on my old centre pole tomorrow which will reveal more.

Remove the centre pole from the camper.
Drill out rivets.
Slide fitting off, and fit replacement.
Pop rivet to pole.

After removing the old fitting, you will just need a couple of beefy pop rivets and a gun and it should be an easy repair.

Ahhh! I threw all my old poles out in 2013 when I replaced the set with the newer version .... (really a huge improvement and much easier to deal with.

Sounds like you're sorted though!
