I am looking to store my van at home. problem is the van is around 5.5 meters long and my drive is 5.3. How bad is it if the van sticks out on the path 15-20 cm? Obviously there will be something bright and reflective on the end to stop people walking into anything.
I have looked online and specs state the van is 6.03m shipping length. Far too long for the driveway. Is there a way of removing the hitch assembly and the plastic surround? The van will be stored and wont need moving for a while.
Dodgy if the hitch sticks out,I can see your average claims lawyer rubbing his hands in glee already! Being only a little over your boundary makes it irresistible to vandals too. And don't forget your local helpful council,who will love to get involved.
