Hi we have brought our first trailer tent and so looking forward to trying it out. I'm trying to book some holidays for this year, a couple on Haven sites for when we take the kids! This is probably a very silly question but what do they class as the length? Is it from the a frame and including the awning going outwards or is it the size of the cabin when open, what I would say the width? Hope that makes sense. Thank you in advance for your help x
Normally sites want to know how much ground does the unit occupy. It is the equivalent to the "footprint" of a tent.
If you have a separate, detachable awning, then don't include it.
For ferries they are interested in the total length from hitch to number plate.
If there is no specific rate for trailer tents, then suggest you are a tent, it is often cheaper. However if "no tents allowed" then you are a caravan.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
