Hi Chris,

I fitted a large plastic box onto the A frame to carry the essentials. One of those garden chests from B&Q. I used straps to keep the lid closed. THe tent came with ground pads for the support legs, but I did think of changing or adding caravan type stabiliser legs on the 4 corners of the main trailer for quick setting up. The kids group up faster than I could change things. Unfortunatey the family camping days are over , so I've had to put a hardly used trailer tent up for sale.

I get my camping fixes from motorbike touring now.

How do you get on towing with the big box on the front? The guy I bought our old Conway off had done the same thing but had to make the towing hitch a bit longer to stop it hitting the car when turning.

The Sunncamp has come with the factory fitted box, quite a bit smaller but everything I need to put in there fits quite nicely. I've just this minute come in after fitting wind down legs, much better. Next job is to fit out the trailer with mains electrics.
