Hi, I've just bought a 30 year old Pennine Clubman folding camper, can anyone help with a manual for this please. I'm especially interested in the wiring as I'd like to connect a battery.
Thanks in advance.
Rikki

The Pennine manuals of the time were very generic, and not model specific. If you have a look at the Pennine Clubman Model Details there is a manual link on there. It's for a slightly newer manual, but may be of some use. The web site is still not fully fixed, after a recent crash, so ignore the toolbar issues, as all the main data etc is ok.

Thank you Blue Sky Pennine for your reply. I have downloaded the manual, but this camper doesn't have control panel, just a connection block with one black and one red wire. It does have some 12v sockets and has been wired with 240v sockets, although these are, as yet, untested. I have made new bedroom pods,
getting a towbar fitted next week and am excited to be going on an 'overnight' test on a local campsite.

The older models, even as late as the late 90's were very random in their electrics. I have a '97 Sterling, and the electrics bear no resemblance to the manual, whatsoever, so I wouldn't worry about that too much. Enjoy your first trip. I've just, today, purchased a 1964 Apache Raven trailer tent, so looking forward to getting that all set up and christened on her first camping trip.

I thought I'd give a quick update.
So far, I have had the camper away twice, the first time with the scouts where I used it purely to sleep in, the weather gave it a good try out with heavy rain and gale force winds and apart from a few drops that could have been condensation it remained dry inside.
The second outing was a spur of the moment thing when I'd just finished the second enclosed bed-pod and the glorious weather enticed a last minute booking. I'm pleased to say the water, gas and electrics work well and we (me, husband and 2 dogs) have had a lovely couple of days away in Yorkshire.
I have noticed 2 small areas where I think it might need reproofing, but as a novice, I'm not really sure - should I wait until I actually see water come in or act now? Any advice greatly appreciated.
