I have just managed to bag a Royal Leisure 3-Way fridge on eBay. Predominantly I want to use the fridge on gas in a utility tent. Unfortunately the fridge is missing it's back metal plate. Would this be a problem in use? Personally I don't see any reason why this would be a problem as the gas chamber and pilot light are obviously enclosed. Just wondered if someone more experienced could tell me yay or nay?

Hi

I work at Royal Leisure and I have asked the question for you on the back plate for your 3 Way Fridge. The back plate stops any debris from falling into the fridge and without the backplate the wires are exposed, so it is fit for safety reasons.
