Hi, I've recently bought a 91/92 Conway calypso, it's beautiful, cant wait to take it out, however I'm just wondering if anyone would know where I could get a back rest? The product number is AC1106, I've tried googling and binging, also I'm on the look out for the annex and the gas storage box that sits on the A frame, thanks in advance if you can help, I'd be very much appreciate thanks (Mrs) Max
Any Conway TT back rest would fit,cabanon ones too,but the spacing of the brackets would need changing. The original ones are just a couple of bits of flat bar with a bend,a bit of ply and some foam,and they are a waste of space IMHO. TVS in Bolton for anything canvas related,and general spares, front boxes pop up on eBay a lot. Camperlands had some used ones,trigano ones I think,that are fine on Conways. Conway owners club is a good source for info.
The B and Q tote box makes a good smallish front box,it will take a porta potti.I used one on my previous unit,sitting on two ex roofbars bolted to the A frame,ratchet straps to hold it on.A donation to Help for heroes if you want it!
