We have recently purchased a folding camper. We currently have no power from the battery, we replaced the battery but still it doesn't work. It all works when we plug into the mains. According to the manual it says to check the 20 volt fuse, but we can't find it. Your help would be very much appreciated.

Cindy

Hi Cindy, I take it you have the control switch by the meter set to "Van" when running on battery? I might be stating the obvious but I know some have missed it.

Hi Alan
Yes we have changed it from mains to battery and it still doesn't work. It works of the mains but not the battery, so I'm guessing it's something to do with the transformer...I think!

Hi

I purchased a Fiesta at the end of the year and also had a problem with no electrics from the battery. We traced the issue to a connector under the sink, in the wiring from the battery.

Mine is a 2012 Fiesta so I don't know if yours will have the same connector but it may be worth a look

You sid in your post you couldn't find the fuses. They are under the seat next to your charger switch.

I'm not sure if the 2007 Fiesta is the same set up as the 2002 but on our fiesta you also have to plug the grey lead back into the trailer at the coupling end of the trailer i.e. the end that attaches to the car. Apparently this completes the circuit.

Hope that helps.

Andrew

We had a fiesta 2007 and we were idiots with electrics, trip switch was switched off. The fuses are next to this under the seat.It also has to be on bbc and not car as it won't charge.Could be worth letting a caravan service place have a look, find a good one and they are brilliant with tips.
