Hi
The model I'm looking at is 2003. I'd love to hear from any Conway owners- what are they like? Is it easy to get spares?
We are totally new to this and would appreciate any advice
Thanks

Conways are well thought of, and the Challenger is a nice little unit. Unfortunately, no second hand camper pats are ever cheap and easy to get hold of. Some are easier than others, and some are cheaper than others. Conways are better than many, as many of the old parts were bought by Tent Valeting Services, in Bolton, and they still have some in stock, as well as making some others.

Also, the Conway Owners Club is very helpful, and a great source of loads of information on most models. As with most things, a lot of it is down to personal preference, and best advice is always to view a few, before you buy. That said, if you fall in love with one, then you may as well just go for it.

Get some M6 bolts (20mm ish should be ideal)

(when you arrive on site and the little metal push button adjusters break you have a nice temporary fix till you get home)

a 9" bit of fence wire with a nice hook on it comes in handy (for fishing out the broken spring bit)

Isn't it easier to spend 3 quid getting some spare buttons? lol. I always carry a pack with me.

Well when you arrive in the pouring rain you need it up so the small bolts are a tempory fix till you get home or the weather improves so you can untie the roof pole and remove it to access the inner pole to get the old spring out and insert a new one :)
