We had our first wet pack up today, and I mean proper wet!
Was pouring down Friday afternoon when we set-up too but the canvas held good and pleased to say no leaks!
Home now and have put the FC up again to dry out - hopefully it'll stop raining soon!
Anyone else have a wet weekend away? We went to Cotswold View in Charlbury and went to the Riverside festival yesterday, luckily the weather was good then! Had a great time.

We cheated a little and got lucky with the weather for our 1st time out with our tt.
Arrived late on Friday at the outlaws in Norfolk in torrential rain and about an hour of daylight left so we slept indoors that night. Rain stopped sat lunchtime so we found a sheltered spot behind a big hedge and setup. 1st time with the awning and was pleased with how it went up. Then able to pack it all away before the rain came again Sunday lunchtime.

As did we this morning, It's now sat on the drive even wetter than when it left the campsite, don't know about you but forecast for here looks like it may be Thursday or Friday when it "might" be dry enough to pack away

Certainly has been a wet few days! It looks like today is going to be a little bit sunny and with the breeze I think we should be all dry today, so hopefully pack up after work tonight.
I didn't find the wet pack up too traumatic, went prepared with some large sheets of polythene and covered everything up - all good.
Love it!

Out of interest, has anyone else had trouble putting the camper up when it's really wet? We really struggled on Monday, it was as though the canvas had shrunk a bit.

Yes I had that when I put it up Sunday night having packed it away wet. Just didn't force anything, and within 24 hours it was drier and was back to normal.

Having only used our camper twice up to now, we have been lucky and able to pack away dry.
Noticed on some videos I've watched that the pathfinders are supplied with a sheet of something to lay over the cushions/job/toilet door etc for when packing up wet. Being secondhand, we haven't got that. Seems a good idea. I'll have to sort something out for invade we need it. (Hope not though)

Same here, getting the canvas over the corners of the beds was a pain in the proverbial.
Fortunately ours was dry and packed away this morning
On Friday we sat for three hours in the car at Upton Manor campsite in Brixham waiting for torrential rain to stop long enough to get our fc up. In the end we managed it and also the awning which went up the best ever due to a really level site. On Sunday the rain was torrential again with very strong gusts of wind which saw off several tents but luckily we survived! We took our awning down on Tuesday evening as it was dry and then managed a dry pack up today as well. Better weather altogether now we are home again, typical!
