hi all, I have a dead battery in my pathfinder, can I leave it out and still use the electrics when plugged in? Or do I need to leave it in?

Yeah. You'll be absolutely fine. Pathfinders are sold without batteries, anyway. They are an optional extra, so the PSU has a built in transformer. There is a school of thought that believes the batteries do other jobs, like regulating current, but nothing major, and they wouldn't be sold without them if it were too much of a problem.

Hi there Mr T, i never used a battery in the cruiser.Maybe obvious but if you remove the battery make sure the leads can,t touch as they will still be getting a feed from the charger circuit.

We find our battery very useful. But then, we have a motor mover! Othwerwise it is really only needed if you stay on places without EHU.
