Hi all. We have recently made the decision to stick with our tt rather than get a caravan and as such I have decided I want to upgrade/improve/pimp my tt.
All ideas welcomed but particularly regarding running water......
I fitted a running water system to my Raclette TT.
I didn't bother with a tap, just used a caravan type water pump on the bottom of the water hose with was placed in a 5 gallon container.
I connected the other end to a folding faucet and the live from the battery went through a switch mounted on the side of the sink.
The waste and water containers sat below the sink.
My Raclette TT came with just its beds, awning and kitchen bit.
First off I put in a battery, a charging unit, 4 X 12v sockets, two mains sockets and a mains EHU unit.
I then bought a Thetford Toilet which during the day was housed in the bedroom area and at night, out in the awning.
I also bought a chest type 3-way fridge.
Both the toilet and the 3-way fridge were the same height and were also the same height as the side seats, so they travelled inside the TT when towing.
The 4 X 12v sockets powered the water pump, the awning light and 2 bedroom lights.
All of this was done about 30 years ago and the ol' memory is a bit dim these days, so if I have missed anything, sorry. But "pimping" the TT was a great learning curve that stood me in good stead for later when we moved onto motorhomes and caravans.
