Hi I have recently bought a Trigano chambord trailer tent I wonder if anyone could tell me how old it is the vin plate reads VGL 5LT 00000067666 also does anyone have the awning instuctions it has a main awning and an extension I am wondering if it the same as the chantilly any help would be appreciated the canvas is light grey and green it has red pockets I have joined the Trigano owners site and I have put a post on the site but had no replies yet thanks laka121
If you've joined the owners group on Yahoo there should be a spreadsheet where you can look up the serial number to get a build date. I think you'll find this in the files section but it's a long time since I was a member so it may have been moved.
Hi rob thanks for your reply I did find the spreadsheet on the owners site but it only went up to 1993 and my number was not there i could only find one spreadsheet in the file section .
Hi again. It's a long time since I looked at those spreadsheets but I remember that there were batches eg of Chambord builds then a batch of eg Chantilly followed by another batch of Chambords etc. There are listings there up to 2005 or so and yours should be there somewhere if you can find where it has been hidden by the logic of the French manufacturing system.
