Sorry for delayed response Usher, we don't have any confirmed trips but always seem to end up in New Forest at some point in the year, may go somewhere local in Suffolk just to try it, what about you whats your plans

We found our Pennine cosy using a small fan heater when we last used it at the end of October into November, and it was wet, miserable and damned cold outside.

We wouldn't hesitate to use in all year round if it wasn't for the problem of drying it out if we had a wet pack up.

Our next outing is booked for late April but we may use it before depending on the weather.

I should also add that even paying for Metered EHU we were able to use a fan heater without it costing a great deal.

Still a bit early to be comfortable,( for us,) as stated, frost and cold early morning, and maybe a wet/damp pack up.
When we started camping, we could not wait to get going, now we don't start till May.

Rather late response ... but, Bluesky, your 'hearing' made me chuckle! You hear everything in an FC!
Whenever we used to camp in cold/cool conditions, we used an oil filled rad and left it on all day .... seemed to do the job well .... but, obviously a lot depends on the outside temp.
