Not used one. personally, but I reviewed them extensively when they first came out, and I've had a good look at them a few times at the NEC shows. No doubt there will be one there next week, as well.
I think the Air would actually suit pretty well for what you are looking for, as it would give plenty of extra living space, and is quick to put up.
It has a sewn in ground sheet, and can be put up pretty quickly. There isn't a huge storafe space in it, especially when you consider it is designed to be, potentially, towed by a motorcycle, but that's not going to be an issue if you are towing it behind a campervan.
It goes up pretty quickly, with just 3 air beams, then you just wheel the trailer inside and set up as a bed (not ideal if it's muddy outside, to be fair, as you then ave to wheel a muddy trailer inside on top of your sewn in ground sheet, but, otherwise not a problem. One area where the Air gains over most Campmaster models is that it does, at least, have its own mattress pads, rather than having to use an inflatable mattress, but I suspect it wont be quite as comfortable as the campervan (it will be a lot of fun though).
The other thing I really like about this setup is the toilet / changing area, next to the bed, which is a totally separate compartment and very practical. Of course, having a trailer and a toilet compartment inside what is, after all, a modified Vango Eden 400, means that the living area is not huge, but, as an add on to a campervan, I think it sounds like an interesting, and, potentially, successful option.

TBH,wouldn't a large pop up,such as a Base Seconds be just as simple,or any tent really. It looks a lovely idea, but a bit over the top just for a bed off the ground. How about a drive away awning,or just the cabin section of a 2 berth tt,which would not need pegging in many cases, and go up quicker than the inflatable.
