We have just bought a Pennine Countryman and it's being stored on the front drive.
When we came away from the camping shop that we bought it from the guy showed us how to pack the whole thing away and put the awning and poles on the top of the trailer, which is an obvious place for them to be stored due to the space.
I just want to get an idea if anybody else stores theirs here or whether it's tucked away somewhere else.

We used to have a Countryman and yes that's where we stored our awning when in transit. As we only used the awning for longer periods of stay we used to keep it in the garage. We've just brought a Pullman and the guy has told us to put the awning inside the camper in the centre to keep the weight distributed correctly. Again we'll be taking it out unless we have a longer stay.
If you store the awning inside the countryman you'll find you don't have room for much else as you only have the space between the seats.

We tend to keep our awning in the right hand side locker together with the bed skirts. That way if we are just staying overnight we dont need to lift it off the top.Even the acrylic tends to be heavy. We so however keep the fibre glass poles on the top. You just do what ever suits you best. I dont think there is a wrong or right way. I do remember when we bought the FC we were told to try and keep the poles and awning seperate as they are worth over a grand and are very saleable if stolen together.
