Hi,

This may sound daft, but we are new trailer tent owners, do people put locks on the Zips to secure the top part of the door whilst sleeping or out in the day? Thank you 😊

Thank you, I just feel a bit insecure knowing people can get in.

I would say treat it like a tent, put anything valuable in the car or in the sleeping pods, out of site, with you at night

I would advise against padlocking the zips, just keep any thing worth stealing locked in the car, if you padlock it you are advertising the fact there is some thing worth stealing inside and two seconds with a stanley knife and someone is in and you have a big tear to get sorted.

On most sites people tend to look out for strangers but in twenty plus years of camping in one form or another I've never had any trouble or anything nicked nor known anyone else to suffer it, just look around and you will see alsorts of stuff left outside day and night.
