Does anyone have either of these motor movers fitted to a Pennine Fiesta? I need to have a mover fitted as I have a gravel drive which is on a slight incline plus I'm the only adult in the house and it's impossible for me to move alone. I've had a price from a local fitter for the Reich Basic but it's £150 more than Rhyno will fit one of theirs for. Obviously I want to only pay as much as I need but don't want to just go with the cheapest for the sake of saving money, would rather pay the higher price than waste it all if it doesn't do the job properly. My main query is how they cope on the gravel with an incline??

We have just had a Rhyno mover fitted on our Pullman. We previously had it fitted to a Countryman so vertically the same as a fiesta. We find the Rhyno mover is great. We also have a gravel drive and although the mover is great the jockey wheel kept getting stuck so we had to use a think piece of wood to stop it digging in. The Pullman we have now has a much fatter jockey wheel the previous owner fitted and it goes over our gravel much easier.
So in answer to your question, yes the Rhyno mover is good but you may still struggle on the gravel due to the jockey wheel digging in. It could be that our drive isn't compacted enough.

I guess I'll possibly have the same issue with the jockey wheel too then, will cross that bridge when I come to it. Thanks for the help

We found it easier on gravel if you had a pneumatic jockey wheel fitted.

Link.

Now you're confusing me , what's the difference to a normal one? Is it just the tread? You'll have to forgive my stupidity if I'm asking something that should be obvious, this is my first Fc.

I tried to have a Rhyno mover fitted to my Fiesta - I only live a couple of miles away from the factory so they were convenient for me.

However when Rhyno tried to fit it they found that the camper wheels were slightly off centre to the chassis (9cm gap on one side, 11 cm the other) . This doesn't seem much of a difference but there wasn't room for the mover motor to fit in the 9cm gap side.

I opted for a Reich Move Control Comfort instead as the distance from the chassis to the tyre was irrelevant with that model (or the Reich Economy either I was informed)

If considering the Rhyno check the measurements to ensure your camper isn't offset as well.

Thank you Irvine5, that's a great help, will certainly look into it and that gives me an idea of more questions to ask Rhyno
