I would like an awning for a folding camper. Can anyone who has an adapted porch awning please tell me.
1 is it a caravan or motorhome awning.
2 how was it is adapted in particular did you have a zip added.
3 other than a zip how is it fixed to the camper.
4 what features do I need to look out for when selecting an awning to be adapted.
I'm sorry if this is something you have all heard before, but I am new to this.
1. Caravan.
2. Zip. Buy an open ended zip the correct length and size, zip on to camper. Erect awning (as best you can) and space accordingly, that is - where you want it to match. Pin the zip and awning together, unzip care fully and sew both together with a sewing machine. (Heavy duty needle and sail thread).
3. Never used anything else although some have used magnets or velcro fixings down the sides.
4. Height.
-------------
I came into this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left.
