The awning depth, on both models, is universal, at 250cm, so no issues there.
Unfortunately, compatibility will be subject to a bit of modification. Whilst the shape is relatively standard, the 1997 Cruiser was built by Conway, and the 2006 Cruiser by Pennine, so it will definitely need a new zip, at the very least.
