Hi, just bought a second hand Cabanon Jupiter trailer tent. Its one that didnt come with a kitchen unit.
Everything is in place for one to be fitted (ie, holes and tighteners for storage bars, holes in chasis to move the axle back etc)
All I need is a kitchen unit and a larger main travel/storage cover.
Anyone know where I could get a kitchen? Ive tried the usual ebay, gumtree etc, Ive called Camperlands and Black Country and they've said that its pretty hard to come by kitchen units (is this true?)
Im based in Lancashire and will travel within reason if anyone has one available and obviously Im willing to pay.
Thanks in advance.
Tony

Kitchen units are hard to find, then you will need a 2nd dose of luck to find a matching cover.......

Might be simpler to buy another complete unit with a kitchen and sell the one you have......

Are you sure you really want one. A folding camp kitchen stand and a two ring burner unit plus grill gives you more work surface space and less weight. You can similarly get a folding unit for a washing up bowl.

Thats exactly what we did with all our tt's and smaller fc's.......left the big heavy kitchen at home.....less weight and more space to store other equipment in..

Hi, thanks everyone.
To be honest, Id not really thought/looked into the 'pop up' kitchen type.
Ive had a quick look and you can get some decent ones with loads of storage in them.
The previous owner has even sold us the TT with a brand new 3 burner hob and grill and full gaz bottle (we didnt know until we unpacked everything) so half way there already.

Also, I didnt realise how much the main covers were to buy and as the one I have is like new, it would be a shame to change it.

Think Ive made my mind up, thanks!

I've got a Cabanon Venus with the kitchen. In hind site I probably would have gone for a unit without the kitchen. I cannot lift the kitchen on my own and I am not sure if my kids could do it with me either which means I can't use it if hubby doesn't come as well.

Tony, not sure if they're that interchangeable - the Venus is quite small! Have you seen this on ebay item number 152216991531. Might do you and a bargain at £30!
