Hi, we had a Conway cardinal and left it on the drive over winter no trouble just put a tarp over to keep the dirt off.

We kept ours on the drive without problems too. We did have a Kampa breathable cover included when we changed ours for a newer model but didn't really think it was necessary.

when we had ours, we just used a tarp over it, however we did put a football in the middle just to aid water to run off, we would also open it up on dry days to let the air around everything, which is something you can do very quickly and shut again just as quick should the weather change, never bothered opening the bed pods tho just had the roof going about half way up
