Hi,

I'm looking for a bit of advice please. We bought our trailer earlier this year and went away a few times, unfortunately due to car trouble we haven't been able to take it out for 4 months but we are away now and when we were putting it up there was mould on the toilet door and underneath the fold away table, can anyone please offer any advice as to why we have mould and how to prevent? We have put all our money into this and need to treasure it for many years, any advice appreciated. It is stored on drive with a winter cover. Many thanks in advance x

Firstly, moisture is trapped inside a unit whether it be a caravan or folding camper which requires ventilation for the moisture to escape. By using a winter cover will restrict the required ventilation thus causing the mould to breed and spread much quicker which is evident seeing the spores of black mould on various surfaces.
The link below offers further advice on the prevention of mould.

You sure about the winter cover scenario, as we used one and never had any mold on our FC.

What did you use to cover your FC?

XVI yes?

As well is two words!

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
