Has anyone got a diagram or know where I can get one for the tardis.
the wiring on the unit we have just purchased has lots of loose wires.
any help will be appreciated.
Hi I have the same problem with my Cardinal I brought and need a wiring diagram. The wiring should be very similar to both, I have purchased a Conway users manual issue 2 on ebay which covers my Cardinal with info of wiring colour codes. I cant work out how to add photo to this reply, post your email address as I now how to send photos that way Roy.
Hi, my e.mail address is klompymum at gmail.com.
it is the 12v side that is the problem, my son in law is coming tomorrow to see if he can sort it out, he used to have a tardis.
A photo of the wiring colour codes will be very welcome.
Thanks lesley

mobile_djs at hotmail.com
and if I mat need the tec names for some other parts
1 those little round things the bunji cord wraps round to hold bedroom canvas tight screwed on under the pull out beds, need about a dozen of them,
metal plates (don't know if there sold pre drilled or even marketed_ to go underbody on the windup winch bolts, mine just have washers on them ,need all 4 for the corners.
thanks in advance
steven
Yes thank you, sorry I did reply to your e.mail address .
You can also download the conway manual that gives you the hook up colour codes.
the 12 v codes are different to the photo, I think someone must have had a go at rewiring it and just did there own thing.
My son in law says it does not look like the wiring his tardis had.
we have decided to get an electric fridge as I dont think the one it has is safe, so will just need to wire up a pump for the water and lights. At present there is not a foot pump fitted. Will let you know are progress as soon as we have sorted out the roof lifting mechanism. We have replaced the main cable on the winch but dont have the swage tool to keep the end on. Have tried using a vice grip and smashing it with a hammer but so far no luck.

Hi Steve this might help you out of trouble, get some 8/10mm copper tube or very small bore plastic water tube from plumbers
Buy suitable stainless steel washers (penny washers) I know were to buy some but price is £3.99 each Roy.
Hi steve
try e.bay for your tie down cleats, there are some going under conway spares,
our winch just has 4 bolts with washers, my hubby had to weld a nut onto one corner so it could be undone from underneath the
chassis.
We managed to sort out the roof lifting mechanism, just have to put the cupboards back and try and sort out the electrics.
you can try towsure for spares. Hope this helps, lesley.
thanks to all who replied to my help add (sorry late in coming but was having problems accessing the site seems ok now) well sorted everything but the lighting out if anybody got info about the circuit board in the main lights let me know?, also was wondering why the circuit board? is it to step down 240v to 12 v when elec hook-up used? or are the lights always just 12v?
thanks
Steven
Hi steve, sorry cant help with circuit board as our tardis does not have one.
we use to have an old caravan that used a battery charger to charge the battery, I am hoping my hubby can do the same for the tardis so when we plug into site electrics the battery will get charged while it is also supplying power to the water pump and lights. The fridge only runs on battery or gas but we hope to change that for an electric one,
sorry I cant be of more help.

Hi, sorry to jump on an old post but looking for advice on how to repair the lift mechanism on our Conway cardinal clubman. It will only partially lift on the right rear side - the other 3 corners work but it seems like the rear right middle post won’t fully extend. I am doubting myself as to whether it is a cable fault but I need to know where to look and see if there is something I can do to fix it. At the moment, in spite of extensive googling, I can’t work out if I can even access the cables without trashing the inside of the trailer. All help and advice would be greatly appreciated - have drawn a blank finding someone local who can repair it for us.

If so there are several threads on there where I documented completely redoing a lift system on a Tardis which is the same as the one in your cardinal, lots of photos etc.
You may be lucky and it might just be the post that is seized, can it be raised by hand by pulling from the top?
I do use Facebook! Will look now. Ive had a good dig out to have a look this afternoon. In my mind, if the cable snapped the post wouldnt go up at all, rather than partially. Removing the cardboard boxing (remarkably new looking) the cable wiring looks ok but I have a loose spring not attached either end to anything and a chute up into the offending pole with nothing in it...looks to me like the spring has therefore popped out. That said, there appears to be another long loose spring not attached to anything at all but the other side goes up no probs. So either at some point someone has replaced the spring and left the old one behind as well or I am totally grasping at the wrong end of the spring so to speak! Couldnt explore further as toddler tea calling!! Will look on Facebook for your Tardis pics and such!
Ps....yes, it will extend up with help but won’t stay in place. Drops down about 30cm or so!
Hi lucy, the tardis uses a jaco lifting system which may be the same as your cardinals, try you tube, under jaco lifting systems they helped a lot in fixing our lifting system. We also have a couple of manuals we downloaded which we can try and e.mail to you
Hope this helps
