I was looking to fit wind down corner steadies to my TT, until I saw how expensive they are! The standard legs are pretty useless, and don't stay in place, so needing something better, but not wanting to spend a fortune, I began searching for an alternative solution.
After a bit of searching I found these,
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181425768469
I'm hoping they will do the trick, I will report back when I've had chance to find out.

I did consider axle stands, but they're a bit heavy, and you can't fine tune the height adjustment, and these jacks are designed for the purpose I want to use them for.

Minimum height seems to be 280mm, (about 11 inches). That may be a bit high for a trailer tent and definitely will be on sloping ground. You need to add on the thickness of a pad under them as well.

I've had a measure up, and I've got about 1/2 an inch to play with, so a set of levelling ramps (the stepped type that don't need chocks) should give me just enough extra height to make the jacks work. I think it will work well, and if it doesn't work as well as I hope, I won't have spent a fortune, and I'll be able to make some of my money back by selling the jacks and ramps on.

If these are not successful have a search on eBay for static caravan jack's very similar to what you have there but come in a variety of different sizes, the longer ones under my caravan extend to 24" plus

Thanks for that, I've just had a look and those, and they might be ideal for what I need, though they may be a little bulky, so need to check the weight of them first.
