I have just restored a 1988 Cardinal Clubman, it has a Whale fitting on outside to which the Whale pump plugs into. I added a a small switch to turn water on/off, if you want info let me know Roy.

Give the body of the old one a sharp tap with the handle of a screwdriver to free it up. Works a treat on mine everytime I think I need a new one :)
