Hi folks I'm looking for some help/ info regarding these. We own an old Pennine Aztec and we will be using electric hookup via the normal camping 3 plug adapter. We have been buying lots of things that we thing will be getting used and we started thinking about lighting for inside the folding camper. So what do yous use? Any help with info regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

I knocked up 3 mains camping lanterns, using the bits listed below.
Bullhead lamp with polycarbonate lense rated 100watt.
105watt Halogen Bulb std BC type.
Inline rotary dimmer control unit.
Twin pole heavy duty 6amp rocker switch.
7m twin core rubber cable.
13amp plug.
Total build cost was £20 per lantern, would not be without them.
On full tilt it's like the sun has entered the tent, but can be regulated to a soft glow when needed.
The reason I made them is that there was nothing on the market at the time that would do the same job.
It was back in 2008 when I made them, so if making something now I would probably look at LED, although when it comes to electric nothing can beat the glow of an old fashioned bulb.
Now that sounds like a good easy solution, no faff.

HI thanks for that and sorry for being so late in replying. After all the worry about what to get regarding lights we soon realised that we had already bought bulk head lights (I think that's what they get called) so that's that checked off the list, although the goose neck lights sound good as well, A wee trip to Ikea is needed lol I have got our new towbar delivered just need time off work to go to the brothers garage to get that fitted, we also bought a new George Foreman grill with flat plate on side, very good its been getting used in the house. We bought the awning foot print from aldi and we also have 2 massive Vango tent carpets for in there too. I think it is starting to become an addiction and we haven't even been away in it yet.
