There have been a number of discussions on this subject over the past years, but here's a twist.
We bought a Pennine Air awning for our Pathfinder, have only used it for two weeks, like all new awnings it was a substantial financial outlay.
For various reasons we have decided to change from the Pathfinder to a small 2 berth caravan. The awning size is 856.
My thoughts are, could the awning be adapted with awning beading to fit the caravan?
I was going to stitch a zip onto the awning to fit the Pathfinder.

Don't see why not
We put a caravan air awning on our pathfinder by adding a zip so going the other way should just be a case of adding the beading as you say

Didn't your Pennine Air awning come with the three plastic clips that go into a caravan awning rail, mine did last year
