Any cool modifications you've seen or done to your FC/TT?
I might put in some extra led lights, put up a flat screen dvd player & probably shelve out the wardrobe of my pathfinder.
There might be some additional storage hacks & addons I can play about with, once I collect it this weekend.
Anyone had a go at making some wee improvements? I'd be interested to hear what you've done/seen.
We removed the wardrobe
Installed decent led strip lights
Removed the 3 way fridge and fitted an undercounter household freezer
Changed from metal awning frame to fibre then to carbon x
Only just got our old (1998) Pathfinder a couple of weeks ago, so no great mods yet.
I've put a memory foam topper on the bed which has made it more comfortable.
I plan to replace the old lights with LED, maybe add in some more lighting, though the number seems sufficient. Some built in lighting in the bedroom pods would be nice though. Not sure how it would work though
For now some solar warm white fairy lights strung round inside the camper make it cosy.
Replacing the shelves in the kitchen cupboards as they are thin and gave bent and sagged over the years
Built in USB charging sockets
Built in smart battery charger for the leisure battery for when it's at home? Will be investigating this as have replaced the old leisure battery so want to keep it in good condition. (will be stored on the drive and can be left on hookup)
If you check the search facility there are quite a few posts re mods.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
In our Pathfinder 95 model,We have shelves in our wardrobe. We have a memory foam topper on the bed. My husband fitted an outside 12 volt socket so we can use an electric cool box,so we have extra cold space as well as the fridge and my husband also made and fitted a small side table to the sink with the same bracket system as the one that comes off the smaller bed. Very useful when cooking/serving up. In the loo,we hang a four wide shoe tidy for toiletries and in the awning just inside the door we hang a long shoe tidy to keep footwear off the floor. My hubby made a 'wardrobe' that encloses our clothes, top & sides,( guess you'd call it a dust cover) for the awning that clips to the poles like the inner cabin liner and is long enough to hang trousers and dresses to prevent creasing. Two side poles fit to the awning poles by the smaller bed and a cross pole is the hanging one which the 'wardrobe/dust cover' hangs from. We didn't want one of the free standing wardrobes. We have also made a light, which is the same as the loo light, attached to a length of wood for our 'bedroom' the bigger bed, that clips to the pole that extends the bedroom, awning side, and slides into a bracket on the wardrobe,so sits outside the pod but flush against it. The pod doesn't get hot so no risk of fire. Not sure if our Pathfinder(95 model)had a cutlery tray in the cupboard to the right of the cabin door below the draw as a fixture but ours had one when we bought it. It's the width of the cupboard on runners and holds lots of cutlery. Save the drawer for further storage. We have hooks on the inside of the wardrobe door for keys etc and we are thinking of fitting an Ariel socket. Have fun.

They didn't start making the Pathfinder until 1998, so yours may be a little newer than you thought. Year of manufacture can be found on the A frame (last two digits of serial no).
