It's a Rapido folding caravan Joe67 so she is in the right place.
Greenwooddean, I always found the method in the instructions to be the best but if you are not already a member can I suggest you join the Rapido group on Freeforums and they will have all the tips and tricks you could even need : http://rapidofoldingcaravan.freeforums.net/

right to level before unhitching you need to get the spirit level and ramp out, place spirit level on the floor of the caravan first across side to side, place ramp in front of the wheel on the lowest side and then pull caravan up the ramp with the car until the spirit level shows level, place a chock behind the wheel on both sides, hand brake on and unhitch. then using the jockey wheel you level front to back, only once that is all done do you put the steadies down, as that is all they are strong enough for, steadies cant lift to level or it will cause damage to the chassis

Now that seems a perfectly good scenario

I am definitely going to give this a try,. On my FC I have previously just relied on the bed support posts. That made the beds level but it was interesting getting up in the dark to use the toilet with the main floor sloping. It was a mx of being at sea or over indulging!

For some years now we have been using a caravan mini spirit level, they are cheap as chips on flea bay.
Ours is stuck on the chassis near the jockey wheel, this makes levelling up very easy. When fitting the caravan spirit level we level up at home with a conventional spirit level then use a bit of epoxy to attach the mini caravan level on to of the chassis as near the jockey wheel as possible making sure that it also reads level.
It makes setting up on site very easy.
