Hallo all!

I already have a Conway cruiser (not sure its age but not that new but in good condition). It s big enough for 6 but I miss tent style and find it too similar to caravan - not much of adventure like camping in tents at least for my kids aged 4-14.
I also dont really like using cooker in the fc especially when we camp in France- too hot and not enough room for others to help each others out with cooking. Its awning is horrible to put up; forever to put up and need several hands to help.

But the beds comfortable, the dining table/chairs r great for family...

I am looking at combicamp venezia- big enough for 6 of us if I add a sleeping pod/small awning and the cooker is separated so we can cook outside/in awning. It also have rack for us to put bikes on it which is a plus for us. Watching video - can open it quickly and only use the sleeping areas for one night stay without having to set up the awning like some trailer tent. Even setting up awning looked easier than Conway (for once no argument between me and hubby about who supposed to hold up the poles. Haha)

Guess I am just looking for your opinions, reviews on combicamp, and reassures that I am not dumb for thinking of changing from Conway cruiser to combicamp which is smaller, may be less comfortable?

We love camping in nature/forests campsites not holiday parks, and planning to go to holland/Belgium/north frances this summer. We r not the type to stay at a campsite for more than 4/5 days.

You could also consider keeping it, and having a gas outlet fitting, fitted to the side then you could put cooker in awning.

Hello

We have had in this order Pennine Pullman FC, Conway Mirage TT, Pennine Patherfinder FC, Caravan and now a Combi Camp Country. My kids are 22,24 and 26 and they are all said they prefer the camping experience rather than a tin top. Out of all we owned the Combi Camp is the best in my opinion, Its light, quick and easy to erect and has a big kitchen area in the awning part which is fixed to the back. We have the one bed option which is a king size i think and if we put a camp bed on the hard floor if one of our ‘kids’ decide to come. Like you we prefer the kitchen not inside the main cabin as its to cramped, we did love our Pathfinder for features and size but there just something about the Combi Camp that makes it more enjoyable. I’m looking to get the side annexe which will give us another 2 beds if needed.

I would highly recommended a Combi Camp

Here’s a couple of pictures, Ive ‘pimped the kitchen a bit ;-)
