Hi everyone,
I have just purchased a 2008 Pennine Fiesta (we currently have a 21 year old Sunncamp 250) which I'm collecting on the 4th May. The whole thing is in good condition but im not a huge fan of the colours (coffee and cream) but because it is quite 'bland' I think I can really add a splash of colour. Im wondering about a new carpet, possibly doing something to the kitchen wood.... i'd love to upgrade the curtains... I think im giving my self far to big a job and ive no clue where to start so I wondered if any of you have 'Pimped your camper?!' If you have I would love to see some pictures to give me some ideas and any practicalities that I wont have thought of.

If you do a search on this forum using the word "pimp" you should find a couple of earlier threads that might give you some help.

if mine I would just choose new stuff like kettle and tea and coffee jars and a few cushions and a rug in the same colour, raspberry would work well with coffee colours

I pimped my ride....but I feel like a caravan bore cos I drone on about it so much!! I put some photos on other threads.
not to want to bore you, but i just completed phase 2 of my repainting my Pathfinder. I got rid of all the orange wood and painted it white, and stuck sticky wallpaper on lots of surfaces. I replaced the curtains which dramatically alters the look, and changed the carpet for a runner, which is slightly narrower but works a charm.
I do completely love my caravan now, it's in my taste and (I think) it looks amazing!! It's a horrible job and I"m the worst decorator, the space is tight and it's not ideal working conditions. I would recommend spray paint which is fab. I also followed some good advice: light sandpaper surfaces; 2 x undercoat and 2 x egg shell top coat. It's been very hardwearing, caravans get very mucky.

Here you go, some of my recent pics showing my finished rig. I used black out lining for my curtains (which aren't up in these pics)...there are loads of great youtube tutorials on how to make curtains. I have to redo mine because I didn't make the seam at the top quite wide enough and it's kinda tight to put the curtain through each time. So watch for that when you do yours. Enjoy your redecoration!!!

I was really inspired by a lady who's blog is called Twinkle Diaries....but there are loads of inspirational pics on Pinterest as well.

I just tried to copy and paste the instructions I found on a thread, but the little pictures didn't come out.

In the search box just type in the word Pictures and it will come up - someone wrote out the instructions and I followed that. It was very simple. If I can do it.......

Someone very clever might add a link to the right page, but I don't know how to do that.

Exactly my starting point :) I've gone for red and have cushions, lamp, trivet and a table runner! I'm looking for a rug!

Wow! Thank you for sharing the photos of your pimped ride!
I was toying with the idea of trying to smarten up my folding camper, feel a bit intimated by your amazing job! 😳😆

Don't be intimidated by mine!!! Have a look on Pinterest....oh man, there are some amazing pimped rides on there!! People are so clever with interior design in such a small space!
Be inspired!! And make it how you want/like it. I took ages overcoming the fear of starting, and the thought I was making a big mistake. I'm not planning on selling mine anytime soon, but the re-sell really put me off for ages. But I'm so happy I changed her. She's a beauty! xxx
