Hi all, we've got a (I think) 2006 Pennine Pathfinder with an truma ultrastore heater (the label says US-103). I've noticed that recently there's no hot water when we come to use it.

I prime the heater by letting the hot tap run before switching on the heater and I've noticed that if I leave it 10 minutes or so after priming that the heater tank is empty again. I've made sure the drain valve is closed and it seems that the water is draining back into the aquaroll via the pump (I took the pump out of the water and watched it drain for a good five minutes.

As far as I can see there's no non-return valve between the water pump and the heater - should there be? It seems to be on the inside of the camper under the sink there's a t-piece with one side going to the cold water tap and the other to the heater via the drain valve. I did notice that the inlet where we connect the water pump is stamped NRV on the inside?

Any suggestions on where the NRV would be and how I replace?

Have you contacted Pennine themselves, I found them extremely helpful when I had a query on an unrelated issue.

Has someone before you, swapped the T piece around? So the cold water is on the non return valve?

I had this issue and found it to be a sticky valve (The red one with the drain hose attached)
Air slowly goes into the tank through the clear breather pipe. emptying hot water back out into you water container outside. Lots of air when turning on the hot water tap.
Apparently its a common problem.
I bought a upgraded one.
