Hi folks any body have any info on replacing the tyres on a 2002 combi camp venezia ? I can remember we were told they were the same tyres as light aircraft and not caravan tyres -any one have any Info or have replaced their tyres /wheels

Why not ask the manufacturer direct, they are still in business, and being in the Netherlands, almost certain their English is perfect so no language issues!

Yes planning to do that -have joined the FB group and posted already -just on to this this afternoon .My son has been using our combi for 8 years but now its coming back up to Scotland in the next month or so we need to act quickly thks

If the tyres are 8 plus years old, they are probably in desiderate need of changing, not because of wear, but age/UV light degradation, and damage suffered from standing in the same position for very long periods!

Caravan tyres should be changed after 5 years for that reason.

Yes that what we think -thats why its urgent -its currently off road in storage but we are planning to replace them down there before attempting to tow it hundreds of miles ,son hasn't used it for a good few years

if you get the tyre size off your son, you could ring a few up to get the best price and fitting. some will even have a mobile service and come out to the storage to do it for you so its ready for you to take it home
