Hi
Does anyone know if I can buy a smaller awning for our cabanon Stratos. It is now only my husband and myself who go away and for smaller trips and the main awning is too much. But I really want some type of smaller / easier awning rather than nothing ,....thanks

When we had a Stratos we bought the large sun canopy (basically a piece of canvas and a hooped pole). The canvas zipped on like the regular awning and went to the ground on either side. We then zipped our regular sun canopy on the front, to give greater cover. It was so easy to do, we'd use this combo even for overnights.

Not cheap though, and I don't know if they're still available.

The large canopy fits various Cabanon TTs, you just have to check that the zips match.

Oh golly
Thanks for that .
It would be a shame to have to sell it ......so this is encouraging.
So there is a zip at the edge of the hoop ( outside edge)?
We don’t have the sun canopy ...... but this could be an option?
I was thinking of all the ways I might provide something for us to keep the TT going ...
Thanks

Theres a channel for the pole hoop and a short zip for a sun canopy.

We bought ours new when there were more UK-based Cabanon dealers about. It was £400+ back in the day so goodness knows what they cost now, but it paid for itself on a touring holiday due to ease of pitching. Luckily, we already had the sun canopy to extend it. They occasionally come up for sale on certain popular auction sites.

The awning from a Tabora will fit (also known as the transit awing)
