Now that Calor have discontinued the 4.5kg gas cylinder I am thinking about moving to the refillable Gaslow bottles. I know this is an expensive initial outlay but I am thinking that this will future proof me for the next 10 years (especially abroad) and also allow me to go to only one cylinder to save weight.
Has anyone got any experience in using Gaslow bottles in a Pathfinder? Do I just need to order the standard one bottle system from Gaslow?
Don't remember ever reading about a FC owner having Gaslow fitted, you could be the first.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Well, I'm quite happy to be the guinea pig. I have ordered a cylinder and it will hopefully arrive before our first camping trip of the year this weekend. I will post here whether I get it working.
Just a short update: the 2.7kg bottle fits perfectly in the front locker and uses the same gas connection as the Calor bottle. Unfortunately London Gateway services wouldn't allow me to fill the cylinder so I've still not tested it in the camper.
