Hi, the door retainer (if that is what it's called ) on my pathfinder has pulled into the door to such an extent that it won't work any more. So two questions - what is it actually called - it's not the lock part. And can it easily be replaced, since on taking it out it has part of the casting missing and appeared to be held in place with mastic. I am thinking of replacing the door now to get the catch to work, but I will probably need to replace the catch now as well. would a 2000 era door be compatible?
