Hi
Just wondered if anyone knows what damper I need for a 2009 Crusader and how hard are they to replace?
I know the information is below the plastics by the hitch just wondered if anyone knows.

Do the same in my 2006 crusader. Did you find this out? How do you remove the plastic cover, looks like a few rivets hold it in place

Hi sorry about not replying earlier, yes I had the Damper replaced. I drilled off the old rivets and found the information I needed underneath. Tried attaching photo but my phone signal is rubbish...

There's a company called SGS Engineering who stock all these dampers. There will be a number on the side of the old one. Contact them with the number and it'll be in the post.

I replaced one in a caravan years ago. It was held by a bolt at each end. I think there was a rubber boot at the front end which slid back to reveal it.
