Has anyone bought one of these awnings for their pathfinder/crusader? I am undecided whether to buy the one of these awnings or buy the lightweight poles for the full awning? I usually put the awning up on my own so wondered if the air awning might be easier?
There seems to be a lot of debate about this, and I am also interested. We are considering a porch awning for our Countryman. I don't think we will always need the full awning, but keeping wet/muddy stuff out of the cabin will be a must, and a porch might be easier.
We have an Zempire air tent, and that is so easy to pitch compared with comparable poled tents we've had in the past, it's hard to see how an air awning could fail to be easier. But then I read comments saying they aren't, and I doubt my logic! It is heavy and bulky to transport though.
Attwoolls have pitching videos for various caravan awnings, not that particular one unfortunately, but they make them look very easy.
I'm leaning towards the lightweight poles as our standard awning is bigger and with 3 kids (aged 11 and younger) plus 2 dogs (lurchers) I feel it's the better option but then the air awning looks quicker and easier to put up by myself.
