I've got a 2003 Pathfinder 600DL, and was lucky enough to get the last 2024/2025 acrylic canvas with awning before Pennine went into administration.
There were zero problems fitting it and from what I can tell the size is identical. I'm not sure if you can mix and match awnings, and unfortunately I can't really test this out as I've not got enough room to put the awning up at home.
The only difference as far as fitting is the original canvas was sown over the cabin poles whereas the new one has zips.
For removing/fitting the original canvas, you can remove the cabin poles fairly easily if you get the angle right. It's then just a matter of sliding the canvas off or on again, then sliding the poles back in.
If you're considering swapping between them often, you could consider fitting a zip or velcro to the old canvas pole fittings. This would save you having to remove the poles.
The bathroom window / 2 seater window are a different size, so the outer window poles will be different. Same for the curtain poles.
The 3 seater window is also vertically larger, so the place in the middle the tension poles pack up is visible. I've painted these black on the outside, which looks far better with the new canvas (they're not visible at all with the old canvas fitted).
