Hi, any advice on proofing - which brand & method of application is recommended and tape solution for minor tear/split? Complete novice, any advise is appreciated!

Hi..... I used fabseal once... But reading back on the forum opinions differ on it.... The camper should be rain proof without it from what I've read..... I used see through patches that I purchased on amazon.... I only had one tear... But I've used see through nail varnish on a few patches that looked ready to go
