Hi

I have been researching tents for a few weeks, and settled on a Sunncamp Marathon for our family of five plus dog. Now I have a chance at buying a second hand Trigano Vendome GL (2 years old).

So where do I go from here?

All I know is we need seperate sleeping areas for three kids (10, 7, 2). The 2 yr old has foot problems and sleeps in a contraption to hold his feet still so at the very least needs to be in a tavel cot or zipped up area (pod) in a tent.

Other than that, space is the main consideration. The Trigano living area is 5m x 3m. The Sunncamp living area is 5m x 4m. The Sunncamp bedrooms (four of them) are all the same size, and slightly bigger than the Triganos sleeping areas.

So, the debate starts here. I am still leaning towards the tent, but am happy to be convinced either way, so ould really apreciate some expert advice from you all.

Thanks

HI richard as your 2yr old has foot problems then I think the tent would be your best option as its all on the same level, whereas with a TT the is always the risk of him climbing onto the trailer part and injury from falling. Now with 3 children you and your OH. I would consider the Sunncamp Vario 9 Loads of room.

Thanks for that John. I am back at the Sussex camping show later so will check it out. They have all the Sunncamp range set up.
