Hi Bob and Dawn

My Sedona stood up to a Hurricane ( Not a heavy Tropical one I hasten to add, but certainly a strong one) whilst Camping in Tennesee so they can stand a great deal but one does worry when Storms occur.  The fact that your camper came through without a problem is certainly an encouragement to us.  Glad you posted.

I went to Woodland Waters (Nr Grantham) this bank holiday but my session was not so successful.  Some problems with site Electrics going down, also Storm conditions, seemed to cause me some grief.  Once the site came back my US Electrical side failed to work.  The English side seemed to work but I could not plug anything above 4 amps or it would take out my Circuit Breakers, although they were rated at 10 amps, I had had no probs before!!!  It seems that they need to be replaced.  The US spur, fed by a Transformer tapped from a Master 25amp breaker, failed to work again.  When I got it all home at the end, I discovered that, coincidently, some wires had come adrift inside.  When I stripped the thing down I found Dry Solder joints everywhere.  The quality control must have been non existent.  I bought it in the US and brought it back with me.  It is rated as 5Kva. continual use. I need that strength for the A/C/Heater unit, so I am very unhappy about that.  I am attempting to resolder the connections but may end up having to buy a new one.  Not sure where I can get a heavy duty transformer in the UK yet but must be one around.  BUT, in spite of these kind of mishaps, I am so glad that I decided to bring the Camper back with me when I left the US.  I am a Coleman/Fleetwood fan now.  So glad, too, that there are all you veteran Coleman users out there to encourage this "Newbe" thanks ya'll.

Richy
